Posana Café, located in downtown Asheville on Historic Pack Square, features a full service liquor and espresso bar, indoor and outdoor dining, multiple lounge areas, comfortable bar seating and an elegant 800 SqFt private event room. Posana is open every day of the week beginning at 9am. Join us for breakfast for made from scratch pancakes or eggs cooked to your liking. Lunch starts at 11pm and is served until 3pm. Check out our menu to see the variety of soups, salads, sandwiches and entrées we have. We stay open until 4pm Sunday-Wednesday for afternoon coffee, pastry and dessert service. All our desserts are hand made from scratch by our talented pastry department. There are vegan and gluten-free options available. Dinners at Posana are not to be missed. Offered Thurday- Saturday from 5pm until 9pm (and sometimes later). We are open until 11pm for cocktails, coffee and desserts.
Posana café's private dining room is utilized regularly for events ranging from board meetings to rehearsal dinners. Posana has quickly become the venue of choice for social and business events and some dates are booked as far as 10 months out on our calendar. Our private dining room accommodates 50 guests for sit down events and 65-75 guests for cocktail parties and speaking events. It is equipped with HD video, surround sound and a 119" screen. For larger gatherings we offer the possibility of exclusive use of the restaurant for up to 110 guests.
Posana Café is dedicated to serving authentic European coffee and espresso drinks featuring Fair Trade Organic beans and complimentary organic dairy and sweeteners. Chai drinkers will not want to miss our house-made chai which is prepared in small batches using premium spices and organic tea.
Our espresso drinks and Italian sodas feature syrups created from scratch by our pastry chefs. Flavors include vanilla, coconut, raspberry, orange, lemon-lime, fall spice, mint, cinnamon, hazelnut and toasted almond. Plus, there are new flavors currently in devopment and all are naturally sweetened with 100% organic agave nectar. Our pastry chefs are also responsible for our delicious homemade caramel and chocolate sauces as well as our Ginger syrup for our house-made ginger ale which are sweetened with organic sugar.

Posana Café's 23 foot long, high gloss, Kirei bar is hip and comfortable spot to enjoy your favorite cocktail. We offer a great mix of custom cocktails and old favorites. The Posanarita, our version of a margarita, is made with fresh squeezed orange juice and our Bloody Mary's feature house made organic Bloody Mary mix. Quite possibly the healthiest, freshest drinks in town. We also offer Tea Forte's signature line of Infused cocktails which are sinfully delicious.
Executive Chef and Owner Peter Pollay has put extensive time and care into building the wine list. In addition to a few local wines, we only bring in wine made from organic, sustainably, or biodynamicly grown grapes. In addition to cocktails and wine we also serve Pisgah local organic draft beer, and a broad selection of high-gravity gluten free beers by the bottle.
