Spent a wonderful afternoon at Posana Cafe.  We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at your cafe today.  All of the food was prepared in an exceptional manner and presented beautifully.  We could not tell the staff enough how enjoyable our meal was.  Just had to write and let you know how much we enjoyed our meal.  Every aspect of the meal was wonderful, the taste, the presentation and the atmosphere.  What a wonderful surprise while visiting the Asheville area. Keep up the good work.

We extend our appreciation.  The quail....crisped and roasted perfectly. The mushroom risotto, creamy and tasty.  The trout? sweet, as good as can be. Even asparagus and potatoes, tender, just crisp, not over or underdone, very lightly seasoned. In short, perfect attention to food preparations details, quality ingredients, a fresh and clean place, adequate utensils and linens, perfectly friendly and competent service, and given the overall quality, even reasonably priced.  I make very, very few restaurant recommendations.   That said, I am going to go ahead and recommend Posana.  I somehow get the sense you people are serious about quality.........an attitude we could stand in greater abundance in many, many aspects of modern life.  Good Luck and Thanks again.

During the 13 days we were in Asheville, we had breakfast, lunch or dinner at Posana's 11 of those days, sometimes two meals in the same day, sometimes sharing three desserts between the two of us.  Gourmet food, from outstanding french toast (recommended by Peter) to chicken noodle soup to sandwiches to full meals and multiple dessert offerings everyday, all prepared in-house.  A good selection of wines.  Prices were quite reasonable for everything.  Unbelievable.

Just right - perfection: you sit in this quaint little town, watch the friendly locals parade by, the afternoon light slants sort 'a sideways, giving all the walls and buildings this deep golden-orange glow, there is a slight breeze coming up which is just sweet after the mid-days heat and humidity. You lean back in your comfortable little chair, and take it all in… and then there appears next to you magically the coffee… The coffee. A delicate cup of organic espresso topped with a floating layer of light milk foam, and you take a sip, and your heart just shines and the world is a happy place. That's what your vacation in Europe is all about, that's what real coffee culture is about, take in this precious moment to fully enjoy and absorb life around and in you, the smells the tastes, the light, the sweetness of it all. But wait - you look up, and you're seeing the Vance monument. You're actually sitting in Pack Square, at Posana Café. I've lived in Rome, Italy for 9 years, and at Posana I've had the best coffee since.

Just a little thank you for a fabulous non-fat cappuccino this am.  also came back for brunch - fabulous, egg white omelete... keep it up!!  Yours is the best cappuccino in asheville, by far!!!

I recently moved to WNC from out West, where eating healthy is a little more popular and easier to come by than it is here in the good ol' South. I took my local family (chicken fried-macaroni type folks) to Posana Cafe, thinking it would be a nice change, and though this is not the typical restaurant you'd come across in the South (or one my family would pick if given the choice), every family member RAVED. The atmosphere was chic and stylish without being stuffy, the ambience relaxed and casual. The food was superb. Creative, nutritious, mouth-watering dishes that were just the right size, not too much or too little. The desserts alone were worth a trip to downtown, each of us (6 people) got something different, and every serving was not just a dessert, but an amazing artistic creation. The service there is unmatched by any restaurant in the Asheville area. I got endless verbal "pats" on the back, thanking me for selecting Posana Cafe, and for an unforgettable night out. This is a restaurant that my family WILL return to, with or without me!

Posana Cafe is a hit, a wonderful addition to Asheville! It's a beautiful space, outdoor seating available. The menu is mostly organic, noveau American. They have a coffee & tea bar, wifi, a huge sports & party room, and pastries to die for. Peter & Martha Pollay, the local owners, have thought everything out, from the family recipes to the environmetally-friendly building materials. It is a great hangout, the food is organic, flavorful and delicious. The location is fantastic! In the heart of downtown right at Pack Square. Posana is very Asheville!

We recently visited Asheville and came across the restaurant as we were walking by. We immediately felt comfortable and comforted. The gluten free beer "Bard's" and other gluten free foods were a welcome surprise. We came in for a beverage and snack in the afternoon, and enjoyed it so much we came back for dinner. The shrimp pad thai was the best I ever had and the pumpkin chocolate dessert (gluten free) was outstanding!! Most of the time we don't enjoy eating out as we come home feeling bloated and ill, but we were able to eat and drink and went home feeling great. We just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed your establishment. Great taste, warm colors, super service, terrific value. Can't say enough--exceptional. We wish there was a Posana's in Palm Beach Gardens, FL!

OMG...my friend and I had the best time at Posana. Peter is such a joy to talk to. In fact I like the food so much I went back again today for lunch.  My husband has been helping me out a lot because of getting ready for Bele Chere so I rewarded him with Posana's chocolate cake. We both agreed that the cake is the best chocolate cake ever.

We sent our neighbor and his daughter and grandchildren to Posana the other night.  He said "it was wonderful, very fresh, the best he has had in Asheville! "  His daughter wrote me, "We ate at Posana and I ordered everything you recommended and thought I was going to pass out from happiness. I couldn’t finish the cheesecake so I brought it home with me and ate it throughtout the next day. The kids loved it too!

I appreciate your devotion to quality and service.

Well, my colleagues and friends are getting sick of hearing again and again how ecstatic we were to stumble upon your restaurant last Friday during our brief visit to Asheville…and our big bag full of baked goods raised a few eyebrows on the planeride home the next day, too.
